Mary Ann Smith

Mary Ann Dunsford Smith was born August 17, 1928 and passed away January 31, 2014, with her children by her side. Two children survive her: Daughter Margaret Smith Ford and her husband John, and son, Richard Smith and his wife Kathleen. Preceding her in death were her husband, Don, who passed away in 2012 and their son, Steven, who passed away in 1991. Four grandchildren survive Mary Ann: Julie Quay and her husband Sean, and their daughter, Maddie, Nick Smith and his wife Cynthia, Maureen Ford and Colin Ford. Her brother, Jack Dunsford, and many loving nieces and nephews also survive her.

The family acknowledges Patricia Ervin, Gloria Akeredolu, Sheryl Turner and Ralais Harper who cared for Mary Ann lovingly over the past year.

Visitation will be held Tuesday February 4, 2014 from 5pm-8pm in the chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be recited on Wednesday February 5, 2014 at 9:30am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 10727 Hartsook St., Houston, TX 77034. Interment to follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
