Jimmy Lee was born April 17th, 1950 in Anahuac, Texas. He passed away at the age of 71 on November 3rd, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with the incurable disease IPF.
Jimmy graduated from UT San Antonio, (BBA), and St. Philips College (AAS). During this past year, he was registered with the Sons of the Republic of Texas. Many of his greatest memories come from being a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.
Jimmy T. had a very active career with many Industrial General Contractors, his last one being NorthStar Energy. Jimmy was a member of many organizations to support his CWI Certification which he obtained in 1979. He held all positions and was past chairman of the San Antonio AWS Society.
Jimmy enjoyed water skiing, boating, camping and sitting in the garage spending time with friends (his man cave). He would always say: “when I retire, I want to have a lawn business.” He loved yard work and loved being outdoors. He lived a full life, active with T-ball, Little League, Cub Scouts, and Boy Scouts during his two sons childhood. His family gave him a lot of joy. Although he was not able to complete his bucket list, he lived everyday with a happy heart, ear to ear smile, and contagious laughter.
Jimmy Lee is survived by his wife of 37 years Angella “Angie” Shepherd Lee, son TJ Lee and wife Kristy and granddaughter Kate, his sisters Marion Hester, Janet Pike and husband Beau Pike and sister-in-law Monique Shepherd and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brother Bobby Lee, son JT Lee, his parents and grandparents.
Nephew, Rev. Marty Pike will be officiating the services .
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
Following the visitation there will be a graveside service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
Reception to immediately follow service at Walding Station located at 100 Perkins Ave A, League City, TX 77573.
