Jacquelene Kay Burgess

Jacquelene "Jackie" Kay Burgess, of League City, Texas, passed away on July 28, 2014. She was born to Carl and Lillian Sickler of Johnson City, New York on December 23rd. She graduated from Johnson City High School where she was the Head Majorette in the Wild Cat Marching Band. She was married to and preceded in death by her loving husband, John Burgess. Jackie loved a good joke and to spend time with her grandchildren and many friends. She also never missed a lunch outing with her Lockheed Group.

Four children survive her: Daughter, Jodie (Kotasek) Gordon, daughter, Kim (Kotasek) Bouder and her husband Lee, son, Jeff Kotasek, and son,Brandon Burgess, and his wife, Diane. Eight grandchildren survive Jackie: Jessica Robertson and her husband Scott, Josh Logan and his fiancee Anabelle, Sarah Kotasek, Andrew Kotasek, Hannah Grey Gordon, Aysia Ehrlich, Alexis Burgess and Emily Burgess. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Sophie Robertson and Ashton Robertson, her sister, Jody Brokaw and many loving nieces and nephews.

We celebrate Jackie's life, kindness, love and laughter. She and John are reunited in Heaven.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 2, 2014, at 3:30 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas, 77598.
