Donald Dal Hill

Donald D.Hill, 88, of Pasadena, Texas passed away peacefully on May 3, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born in Gonzales County on March 10, 1935 to W.H. (Cap) and Cora Hopkins Hill. He married Vencie McNeese on September 3, 1960 in Pasadena, Texas. Donald was a graduate of Gonzales High School and briefly attended Texas Christian University on an academic scholarship. He began working as an operator for USI in 1961. He retired after 36 from the company then known as Millenium.

Donald is preceded in death by a son; Farrell Lynn Hill, his parents; W.H. (Cap) Hill and Cora Hopkins Hill, 4 brothers; Arno Hill, Harrell Hill, W.A. (Chic) Hill, and Clifton Hill, 4 sisters; Catherine Hill , Dean Hill, Lexie McLaughlin and Maureen Cox.

Donald is survived by his wife of 62 years Vencie McNeese Hill, his children; Darrell Hill (Julie) of San Marcos, Texas, Catherine Forest (Frank) of DeLand, Florida, Rex Hill of Alvin, Texas, Randy Hill of Kapolei, Hawaii, grandchildren; Shelby Pape (Dillon) of New Braunfels, Texas, Tanner Hill (Ashlee) of San Marcos, Texas, and great grandchildren; Raylee and Wyatt.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association (ALZ.org) to fund research to find a cure for this terrible disease.
