Dean had a rough start in life when he was younger but grew to excel and achieve many things despite those hard times. He defied the odds and was an existential teacher to others. He joined the US Army in 1953 and proudly served in the Korean War. Then married the love of his life, Virginia Lee in 1962 and they raised two sons.
