Hi Aunt Cindy, you were loved and still are. You were one of my favorite aunts growing up. You were always so kind. I wished I would have spoken to you more often and called you to say my goodbyes. To your daughters that I had the privilege to grow up with, you guys are loved! To my amazing Uncle Rob, you’ve always shown kindness and what it means to be a good father and husband to your beloved wife. Setting an example even to the end. My condolences. I will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts. Love you guys! Love you Aunt Cindy! Until we meet again!

I wasn't really blessed with a close relationship with Aunt Cindy but any memory I have with her is a nice one. She was such a gentle soul, A truly kind person. She will be missed by so many. 'Till we see you again, say hi to dad for me <3  Prayers for your family to find comfort in these times.

Robert my brother, Cara and Megan, as you know we were truly blessed with Cindy being apart of our lives.  What a  wonderful person, always a positive attitude, never dwelling on her illness or having self pity.  Her faith in the lord kept her strong to the end, she will dearly be missed by all.

Dear Simon family, I worked with Cindy for several years in the Flight Data File area. Cindy was an awesome coworker and friend. She will be greatly missed. God took home a great one. Rest in peace Cindy.

I also worked with Cindy at NASA. In fact, I still have a handcrafted birthday card at my desk that she made me (from when I first joined the Procedures group) in which she said I was doing a great job and was an asset to the team, and that meant a lot. She was so pleasant and helpful. She will be missed.

I knew Cindy as a co-worker.  For years, she was our procedure editor for ISS life support systems (ECLSS/ETHOS).  She was always so helpful and on top of things, and as I tended to request a lot of procedure edits, one day I finally walked over to 4S (the building she worked in) and got to meet her in person.  Over the years, I was able to witness what a fighter she was with cancer, and how positive and caring she remained in the middle of it.  Her smiling face has been greatly missed at work, and my condolences to her family and her SODF work family as well.  Cindy, you left such a good example of a life well lived for the rest of us.

I worked with Cindy at NASA for a number of years as she helped our team with our documentation and procedures for mission control for the International Space Station. Cindy brought to us patience, knowledge, detail and kindness that we all gushed over often. We knew she could help us and solve the weird problems we would come to her with. Her diligence and vigilance were qualities we treasure and strive for in mission control. She did so much for human spaceflight and we will forever be grateful for her. She not only brought us joy professionally but personally too. Thank you Cindy for all you did, we will miss you.

I love you so much! We had such great times together! You were more than just a great friend. You were an inspiration to me. So many people will miss you so much. You made this world a brighter place. Especially with your smile. I will always remember your beautiful laugh. I will see you again one my beautiful angel.

I've known Rob and Cindy Simon for about 15 years since I've been in Trinity Baptist Church. They have been a great example of living for the Lord and raising their children in the nurture and admonition of Christ. I have always looked up to them, not just as friends, but as a brother and sister in Christ. I am going to keep hanging out with Rob. I love his company, and I pray our friendship will continue to blossom as we walk this spiritual journey. I thank Jesus that we have hope and peace in knowing that we will see Cindy and the rest of our families when it is our time to go.

Cindy was a very friendly and loving person.  She loved her family and life.  I remember visiting with her and Rob many times, she was very caring and fun to be with.  She will always be my sister.

Cindy was my Sister-N-Law.  Cindy was one of the most loving persons you would ever want to meet.  Always smiling and of good cheer.  Cindy never had a bad word to say about anyone and was always willing to give her time and energy to those in and out of her church.  I will miss your smile and laugh.  I know you will be waiting for us to join you.
