Jerry Dale Webb

Jerry Dale Webb, age 84, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Jerry was born in Haywood County, NC on August 25, 1939 to the late Oliver and Martha Jane Webb.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Sylvia Jane Webb; two brothers, Glenn Webb and Eugene Webb; daughter in law, Jami Webb; and a son in law, Scott McClure.

Jerry served our country honorably in the US Army during Vietnam in the 101st Airborne. He worked at Wellco for 18 years and Champion for 10 years before retiring.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Linda Mehaffey Webb; daughter, Courtney McClure; son, Mark Webb; three grandchildren, Tyler Webb and his special friend, Leslie Smith, Caleb Webb and Brooklyn McClure and her special friend, Tyrail Singleton.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Garrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held a 11 AM Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Allens Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Scotty Patrick officiating.

Military graveside rites and burial will be held at Green Hill Cemetery following services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Allens Creek Baptist Church.
