Henry David Holt

Henry David Holt, age 97, of Clyde, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Henry was born on February 4, 1927, in Madison County to the late Roy and Mary Wyatt Holt. He enjoyed piddling on things and was able to take two items that didn't work and make one that worked. Henry honorably served his country in the US Army in the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Holt; a granddaughter, Melody Deeter; great-grandson, Marley Brown; and all of his siblings.

Henry is survived by a daughter, Pat Bryant (Steven); a son, David Holt (Dina); grandchildren, Holly Beauregard, Dustin Bryant, Christy Melton, Shawn Holt, Christian Holt, and Henry Holt; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 8, at Crestview Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Dan Page officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
