I have such happy memories of my family piling into the car and traveling over night to the "far away" mountains of North Carolina to visit Uncle James and Aunt Edna, Brenda and Elaine...those Arrington men could be a handful and Aunt Edna was the calm and soft influence in the house..that was over 50 years ago and I got to visit her again about 10 years ago when visiting my own mom...still the sweet even tempered woman I remembered..hey Brenda..hey Elaine..thanks for the childhood fun..the hog rides out back..the old guy next door in that old house with the giant tree in front..your mom lives on in our memories

I have so many beautiful memories made with   Aunt Edna and her family. 

Words alone cannot express my sadness at Edna's passing. I will always have fond memories of her.  She was such a wonderful, understanding, sweet and easy going best friend I could have ever asked for along life's way. She was truly an angel here on earth. 
My thoughts, memories and prayers are with you all. Especially Brenda and Elaine.  
Edna will truly be missed but will never be forgotten.

 Reward her for all she has done.

A faithful,  quiet, gentle and caring person, Aunt Edna has finished the race; she has kept the faith; her reward will be great.

Edna , was such a sweet Lady we did a lot of her furniture I always loved those beautiful chairs she had ,She and I would talk about materials for ever we had a lot of customers over the years some you have a Christian bond with Edna my friend was one of them. Edna Arrington was a neighbor in Ratcliffe Cove. She was Always so kind and nice to everyone. She was a very  special person in   my childhood.



I enjoyed going to church with Edna. She always had a smile on her face. She was a good christian woman and was loved by many people.

Thank you for always having a smile and such excitement when I walked through the kitchen door, always, every time. Thank you for playing football with your slippers in the living room, thank you for French fries and chocolate milk at 6:00am at Charlie’s, thank you for all the pizzas after school, thank you for the yellow painted shoe strings and the “Friends, Romans, Countrymen lend me your Years”...Thank you for all the encouragement when I needed it more than I understood, thank you for loving Melinda, Lukas, Josh and Maddie. Thank you for teaching me to take my family to church and all your prayers, none and unknown. But most of all, thank you for being my MawMaw, cause you were the very best MawMaw ever.
