I worked with David at PHS for many years.  He was well liked by everyone from students, teachers, and parents alike.  He was dedicated to his job and wanted everything to be perfect.  David always had a smile on his face that was infectious to everyone.  He will be missed.


My dad was one of the hardest workers I know! He took pride in whatever he did.  He turned PHS around when he got there! He loved showing off his skills and boy he did have skills like no other! He left marks in people's lives and made them laugh. He touched so many lives and I'm one of them. His legacy will carry on! Love you dad for your dedication and hard work! 

David was one of my favorite people in the whole world.  We went to Hazelwood Elementary together.  He was a #1 Tuscola fan!!!  We worked together at Canton Middle School but he couldn’t become a bear.   He was just a really GOOD person.  I called him “wild thing” and would sing the song and he would just laugh!  He was such a hard worker and a joy to so many people.

Mr. David was one of the kindest people, I always remember him being so genuine and kind when I was a student at Pisgah High. Sending prayers and healing to his family and loved ones. 

I worked with David at PHS for many years and can share he was one of the hardest working men I have ever known. He took so much pride in his job and was always willing to do more. His friendship was very special to me and he will be missed. We shared a lot of  good work days!!!

Great man, hard worker, beloved family man, good friend, a man who every day made life better for others.  A life well lived and someone who will be missed by many, especially his Pisgah HS family.  God’s speed good friend.

From the first day I started at Pisgah, David made me feel at home and kept my room clean. He went above and beyond everyday to make Pisgah a better place. Every time I would have a blood drive, he would make sure doors were unlocked and the air was turned down. Gonna miss talking to him but I know I will see him again one day. Prayers for all of you. He was a great man.

Margaret,so sorry to hear of Ikes passing. You and your family will be in my prayers. 

Such a great guy! I'll never forget during Covid Mr. Conner had me go in the front flower bed and pull out all the weeds. It was hot and I really didn't have all the supplies I needed. He said, "come on girl get your hands dirty, it won't kill ya it'll keep ya alive longer." He was a man of few words, but wise ones!! He brought me everything I needed and we spent the afternoon together pulling weeds. Please know all of his family and friends are in my prayers! He will be missed by many. 

I worked with Dave many years at Ingles.  We have been friends a long time. Lots of memories with him. Great man. He will be missed. 


David and I  have worked together now going on 23 years. He was the very first person I saw each morning as I entered the building to clock in . He was always so helpful and kind. He loved to talk about his family and animals. David was a hard worker and the floors to his building always sparkled. When my own Father past away in September David was so kind. He will be missed by so many .

I know this is one of the hardest things you will face. Pam and Patsy please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray God will comfort and bless you thru this painful time. 




I was very sad to hear of David’s passing. I worked with him at Pisgah. He was the first person who came to the library to welcome me when I went there to work. Over the years we developed a good friendship. He was a man of his word and was always smiling. He was one of the friends I missed when I retired.
