He was born April 23, 1933 in Aleppo, a son of the late Albert Edward and Kathryn Ullom Hinerman.
Bill was a graduate of Center Township High School, Class of 1951 and a graduate of Waynesburg College in 1960.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953 as a Military Police in Okinawa.
In 1959 he purchased Sextons Automotive and owned and operated the store now known as Hinerman’s Automotive in Waynesburg.
Bill spent many hours flying from the Greene County Airport and hanging out with friends at Jerry Dorsey’s hanger. He enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles. He was a member of the F & AM Masonic Lodge #153, Waynesburg; a Life Member of the NRA and Waynesburg Stortsman Club, where he served as a director and the Greene County Airman’s Association.
On February 14, 1959 he married Patricia Webb, who died December 20, 1992.
Surviving are two sons, Edward L. (Vicki) Hinerman and Douglas (Elizabeth) Hinerman both of Waynesburg; six grandchildren, Jared, Nicole, Nathan, Arran, Madelynne Hinerman and Ryan Wells; a great grandson, Preston Wells.
