Linda D. Thorne

She was born November 16, 1952, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late James H. and Shirley Ann Victor Ely.

Linda was a graduate of Waynesville Missouri High School and a graduate of Greene County Vocation Technical School as a licensed practical nurse.

She worked in the area for over 30 years as an LPN.

Linda enjoyed baking and animals.

She will be deeply missed by all who have known her.

Surviving are two children, Jason (Reeda) Thorne of Waynesburg and Brandi (Michael) Horner of Nottingham Twp.; three grandchildren, Kyrstan (Dylan) Higginbotham, Kullen Thorne and Cody Thorne; three great grandchildren, Remington, Lane and Larson; seven siblings, Michael Ely of FL, Clarence Ely of Waynesburg, Steve Ely of Waynesburg, Roger Ely of Waynesburg, Scarlet Brock of Waynesburg, Scott Ely of FL and Beth Ann Pecjak of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents is a brother, Johnnie Bill Ely.
