He was born Monday, January 18, 1932 in Waynesburg, PA. A son of the late Harold Dulaney and Georgia Rogers Dulaney Fox.
Mr. Dulaney was a member of the Washington Street United Methodist Church in Waynesburg. He was a Veteran having served with the United States Navy from 1951 to1954 during the Korean War aboard the U.S.S Orion. He was the President of the U.S.S. Orion Veterans Historical Organization. Mr. Dulaney was a 50 year member of the Waynesburg Masonic Lodge #153 F & AM, AASR Valley of Pittsburgh and the Syria Shrine. He was also a member of the Canonsburg Elks Lodge #0846, the James Farrell American Legion Post #330 of Waynesburg, and the PA. Bus Association. For 29 years he was the announcer for the Waynesburg Little League Wrestling Association and the PA. Junior Wrestling Association.
He worked for his dad's company, LH & D Construction Company for several years. He was also a foreman for Penn DOT from 1955 to 1958. With his wife he owned and operated Dulaney Bus Services for 44 years. He was also the District Manager and Registered Representative for the Financial Securities Corporation.
From his classmates of 1949 and his buddies of the Orion to the clients he served, "Jack" valued the friendships of everyone.
He is survived by his Wife: Aliff Moniger Dulaney, whom he married on May 2,1953.
Also surviving are 1 Son: J. Michael (Helene) Dulaney, of Waynesburg, PA., 1 Grandson: Dr. Joseph Harold Dulaney, 1 Half Sister: Peggy Mcie of Bobtown, PA., 2 Half Brothers: Charles F. Fox of Willowby, Ohio, and Edward R. Fox of Mt. Morris, PA., and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are 1 Son: Dennis Allan Dulaney, 1 Sister: Frances Lucille Dulaney, and 1 Brother: Robert H."Bill" Dulaney.
Friends will be received from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Sunday, February 05, 2017 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden St Waynesburg, PA 15370 where services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, February 06, 2017 with Pastor Linda Bland officiating. Burial will be in Fairview-Kiger Cemetery, Whiteley Twp.,Greene Co.,PA. The Waynesburg Masonic Lodge #153 F & AM will hold a Masonic Service at 6:00PM Saturday, February 4, 2017 in the funeral home.
