Jamie Lynne Pierce died June 9, 2024. She was born August 14, 1964 in Washington, Pennsylvania. A resident of Okeechobee for 41 years, she was a member of the Fort Drum Community Church in Florida. She enjoyed collecting mice figurines, shopping, traveling, crafting, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her father, Bradley Giles; brother, Douglas Giles; grandparents, Mary and Bill Giles; grandmother, Ruth Carson; and niece, Heather Dean.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Pierce; sons, Joshua Giles, Nicholas Pierce, all of Okeechobee, Florida, James Pierce, Jr., of Deltona, Florida, and Michael Pierce (Heather Ferguson), of Ocala, Florida; daughter, Stacey Dadd (Jeremy), of Bowling Green, Florida; mother, Ruth Louise Carson Pierce, of Okeechobee, Florida; seven grandchildren, Devon Scruggs, Jordan Pierce, Ariana Pierce, Michael Pierce, Jr., Ida Brooke Giles, Dakota Dadd, and Elissa Pierce; brother, Randall Giles, of Okeechobee, Florida; sister, Kimberly Cartwright, of Okeechobee, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home.
Additional visitation will be held at Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Her service will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. William Parker officiating. Burial will be held in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township, Greene Co., PA 15370
