He was born April 23, 1962 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Raymond and Geraldine Bell Filbey Cumberledge.
Dave was a 1980 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School.
He worked for Bortz Chevrolet in Waynesburg for 38 years as service manager.
Dave was a member of the Waynesburg Moose Lodge #461, and a social member of the Mt. Morris American Legion Post #992.
He enjoyed taking care of his lawn, doing work around the house, flipping cars, going for rides on his Harley, and listening to Rock & Roll music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends, and having bonfires at his house.
On May 5, 2001 he married Lisa Taylor, who survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Gerilynn Cumberledge of Waynesburg; a step-son, Dylan Taylor of Waynesburg; a sister-in-law, Vickie Cumberledge; and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Paul “Steyme” Cumberledge.
In following guidelines of wearing masks, friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Friday in the Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High St., Waynesburg, PA 15370, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 13, 2021 with the Rev. William Sukolsky officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Humane Society of Greene County, 183 Jefferson Rd., Waynesburg, PA 15370.
