He was born June 20, 1936, a son of the late Clinton Elmer and Dora Elizabeth (Craig) Morris.
Wallace was a veteran of the United States Army, retired from the state of Virginia as a mental health case worker and was a charter member of Waynesboro Mennonite Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Dillard Morris, Rachel Bailey and Frances Deffenbaugh Corell.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Louise (Brydge) Morris, daughters; Robin L. Morris, Marian E. Morris, grandchildren; Megan J. Krieg, Jake Johnson, Matthew Johnson, great-grandchildren; Cadence Addison, Jak Krieg and Rosalie Gieseke Johnson.
“Moose” will be remembered for his love of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, sports, gardening and playing with his grand and great-grandchildren.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Waynesboro Mennonite Church, Hopeman Parkway at Monroe Ave., Waynesboro with Rev. Jim Delp and Joe Arbaugh officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
