Michael Scott Caton

Michael Scott Caton, 57, of Lovingston passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Hospice of the Piedmont Hospice House, Charlottesville surrounded by his daughters. Born July 22, 1967 in Waynesboro, he was a son of the late Walter Allen Caton, Sr. and Nancy (Mays) Caton. Michael worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who greatly enjoyed fishing and hiking. He loved cooking on the grill, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and a cold Heineken. Survivors include his two daughters, Nicole Caton of Schuyler, VA and Jessica Caton of Shipman, VA; two grandsons, Lincoln Garfield and Brandon Davis, Jr.; one brother; one sister; and numerous nieces and nephews. Following cremation, there will be no formal visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro.
