Michael Keith Campbell

Michael Keith Campbell, 54, of Grottoes, passed away on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born at the Waynesboro Community Hospital to Doris M. Campbell and Michael B. Campbell on January 8th, 1970. He graduated from Stuarts Draft High School in 1988. One of his proudest moments was receiving his ASOPE License from Virginia Tech, which led to a 28 year career as a Powerhouse Engineer for Merck. Mike was a dedicated family man who loved spending time at the beach or the lake. He also enjoyed jet skiing, and surf fishing at the beach. Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Denise Campbell of Grottoes; his son, Masen Campbell of Grottoes; his parents, Michael and Doris Campbell of Lyndhurst; as well as a sister, Wendy Campbell and husband Orlando Tatum of Waynesboro; and his mother-in-law, Jane Wright. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as his canine sidekick, Evie. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 18th, at 2:00 P.M. at Jonesboro Cemetery in Roseland, VA (1360 Jonesboro Rd, Roseland) with Pastor Allen George officiating. Pallbearers will be Masen Campbell, Andy Beasley, Tracy Wright, Chandler Wright, Orlando Tatum and Jeremy Clark.
