Born September 9, 1936 in South Boston, VA she was a daughter of the late Henry Christian and Ina Marie (Good) Stalter.
Prior to retirement, Louise worked as a driver for a medical transportation company. She had a passion for driving patients to and from appointments and greatly enjoyed traveling all across the state. She enjoyed spending every morning at her favorite restaurant in town, Weasie’s Kitchen, sharing a cup of coffee with friends. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Taylor; and a sister, Ruby Keeler.
Survivors include her son, Marco C. Taylor and wife, Cathilyn, of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren, Tony Willis, Christian Sharp, John Taylor, Daniel Taylor, Grace Perrault, Kaitlyn Perrault, and Waylon Perrault; great-grandchildren, Lily Sharp, Nora Sharp, Lance Willis and Hazel Willis; two sisters, Freda Weaver of Stuarts Draft and Millie McDorman of Stanardsville, VA; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro with Pastor Bruce Swartz officiating. All who plan to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
