Lester Vernon Campbell

Mr. Campbell was born October 17, 1944, a son of the late Alfred Thomas and Grace Hazel (Campbell) Campbell.

He married the former Nancy Ellen (Patterson) Campbell who survives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Phyllis Vernon, Larry Campbell and Barbara Ann Campbell.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three sons, Robert Lester Campbell and wife Rebecca, Thomas Anthony Campbell and wife Heidi, Timothy Wayne Campbell and wife Katie; two daughters, Barbara Louise Campbell-Decker, Teresa Dawn Reese; three brothers, Leonard T. Campbell, Kenneth Campbell, Jasper Strickler; one sister, Nellie Koon; ten grandchildren, Emily Rexrode and husband JR, Bethany Decker, Kourtney Campbell, Heather Campbell, Ryan Campbell and wife Haley, Kevin Campbell, Luca Campbell, Toby Campbell, Finn Campbell, Sage Campbell; three great grandchildren, Riley Rexrode, Corbin Rexrode and Cooper Campbell.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Active pallbearers will be Timothy Campbell, Thomas Campbell, Ryan Campbell, Kevin Campbell, Luca Campbell and Toby Campbell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Finn Campbell, Sage Campbell, Corbin Rexrode and Cooper Campbell.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2021 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main Street, Waynesboro.
