Dorothy Spradlin Roberts passed away on May 16, 2014 surrounded by loved ones. She was 75.
With her infectious laugh and her zest for life, she never met a stranger. Her biggest passion was her family and she took great pride in her grandchildren. She was a member of Wayne Hills Baptist Church.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband of 58 years, Woody; sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Kathy Roberts and Scott and Amerylis Roberts; grandchildren, Vance Roberts, Heather Roberts, Chuck Roberts, and Ashlyn Soulsby; great-grandchildren, Chase, Kinley, and Lexi Soulsby; a sister, Frangie Gann; several nephews and niece, Susie Piper; and special friends Murhl Blessing and Johnny Wood.
The family would like to thank Legacy Hospice for their care and concern and Brandie Stover for her loving care.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Danny Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
