William Casimir Danic Jr., age 76, of Westland, Michigan passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at his home. He was born on December 13, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to the late William Vincent and Barbara Delores (nee Hein) Danic.
Beloved husband of Michele for 54 years. Loving father of Tracy (Anthony) Queen, William (Lacy) Danic III, and Kammie (Kevin) Lebert. Proud papa of Alexander, Ashton, Atlas, and Grant. Dear brother of Lana (Joe) Pachota and Linda Napier.
William proudly served in the United States Air Force for 14 years during the Vietnam war. He served as fire chief during his time in the service. Upon his return home, he operated an electronics repair company. A great passion of his was baseball. He acted as coach and umpire for various teams, notably the Wayne Baseball Association. He also enjoyed golfing and bowling.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 28, from 4:00-8:00pm at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Ave, Wayne, MI 48184, with military honors held at 6:00pm.
