Margaret Powers, age 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Powers; parents Clyde and Essica Truax; and siblings Russell and Maxine Truax, Gerald and Betty Truax, Wanda and Don Schafer, Geraldine and Bud Wright, Richard Truax, and Marian Truax. She is survived by her children Judy (David) Kraft and Larry Powers and grandson, Brian Orr.
Margaret was not only a loving mom, but truly a best friend to her son. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was quick to share a laugh. She loved her flower gardens and birds, especially cardinals and hummingbirds. She will deeply missed by family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2022 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N. Main Street, Wayland, MI 49348. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1235 135th Ave., Wayland, MI 49348, with visitation from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
