Patricia H. Meehan

Patricia H. Meehan, age 77, of 2695 County Line Road, Watkins Glen, NY died Wednesday December 12, 2012 in Florida. Friends may call at the Haughey-Wood Funeral Home, 119-5th Street, Watkins Glen on Friday December 21 from 4pm – 8pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 22 at 1pm at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pat was born March 13, 1935 in Elmira, NY and was the daughter of Philip and Alberta Guild Hager. She married William C. Meehan Sr. on July 28, 1956 who preceded her in death in 2004. Pat was retired from Schuyler County Social Services. Recently she enjoyed her summers working for the Watkins Glen State Park. She is survived by her children, Annette (Roger) Tijerina of East Lansing, MI, William (Beth) Meehan Jr. of Watkins Glen, NY, Barbara (Scott) McIntyre of Matthews, NC and Terri (Jon) Thorpe of Nichols, NY, grandchildren, Matthew (Andrea), Roger Jr and Michael Tijerina, Jay Meehan, Scott McIntyre Jr and Randy (Kristy) and Erick (Sarah) Thorpe, great grandchildren Kayla and Tyler Tijerina and Kambrie Thorpe. Sisters Phyllis (Jud) Gardner of Watkins Glen, NY, Betty (Bob) McNutt of Barefoot Bay, FL and Nancy (Andy) Anderson of Satellite Beach, FL. Sister-in-laws Kathryn Smith of Mundelein, IL, Vera Franzese and Anne Meehan of Watkins Glen, NY, Brother-in-law Thomas Meehan of Honeyoye Falls, NY, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her sister Alice Robedeau, brother-in-laws Louis Meehan, Joe Franzese and Owen Smith, and sister-in-law Mary Meehan.
