Arthur was born in New Milford NJ on April 6, 1952. He was employed by Coach USA for the majority of his career. Arthur had a passion for buses and trains, politics and history.
Arthur is survived by his wife Elaine Cossa Smith, his sister Arlene Rogo and her husband Chris, daughter Deborah Strobach and her husband Kenneth, son Robert Smith and his wife Kathryn and his five amazing grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Helen Smith.
A wake for Arthur will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM at St Mary's Church, 42 Goshen Ave, Washingtonville, NY 10992. A committal service will occur Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from Saint Marys Cemetery, 2 Fr. Tierney Circle, Washingtonville, NY 10992.
