He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cam Malone-Allen. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Anna Louise Allen (1980).
Frank was born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 30, 1937, the only child of Francis Allen and Rita (McCorkle) Allen and, later, step-son of William Sherlock.
He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for many years, and was employed by the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority. He was an avid collector, enjoyed word finds, playing cribbage, and "puttering" in the yard. He was active in local politics (Marshfield, MA) where he and Anna raised their 5 children. Toys for Tots, The Marshfield Elks Club, and the Disabled American Veterans were some of his community associations.
Along with his wife Cam, he leaves his loving children, Kathleen McKay (Hunter), William Allen (Lauren), John Allen (Paula), Robert Allen (Elizabeth), Jayne Marie Reicher (Eric) as well as Cam's sons, Michael Malone (Donna) and Timothy Malone (Linda). He was the grandfather of Julia, Anna, Amanda, Heather, Zachary, Michael, Hannah, Katherine, Erika, James, and "Uncle Frank" to Cam's grandchildren Kerri, Melissa, and Taylor, and great-grandfather to 9.
Visitation and funeral will be held on Thursday, January 2nd from 9-11AM at Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at St. Anthony's Church, 1 Sunset Avenue, West Warwick.
A prayer service will be held the next day, Friday, January 3rd at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield, MA. Burial will take place at Winslow Cemetery in Marshfield following prayers. He will be laid to rest with his late wife and mother of his children.
