Paula J. Quarterman, age 41, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Beloved mother of Cristien John Quarterman and Cody Allen Conser-Quarterman; cherished daughter of Paul & Robin Quarterman; loving sister of the late Sean (Karen) Monticciolo; and dear aunt of Keegan Monticciolo. Paula is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Paula graduated from Lincoln High School in Warren and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Oakland University. She attended Cooley Law School and was working towards earning her Juris Doctorate. Paula enjoyed reading, writing poetry, and spending time with her boys. She played the piano beautifully and loved singing her kids to sleep. Her song of choice, no matter what season, was "Silent Night." Paula enjoyed playing baseball with her boys, her brother, Sean and her dad. She coached her kids and nephew in little league; alongside her dad and brother, Sean. Paula tragically lost her hero and protector in 2017 when Sean, her big brother, passed away. Paula's most memorable vacations were spent in the Wisconsin Dells with her eldest son, Cristien. She will be deeply missed.
Private family services are being held. Memorials may be made in Paula's name to the American Cancer Society or to AA of Greater Detroit.
