Patricia Rose Priest

Born in Hamtramck, MI to the late Frank and Elsie Anchor, Patricia would do anything for her family and always helped those in need in her community. Being a substitute teacher for most of her life in Manistee County and business partner with her husband Andy at Silverline Welding, Patricia was able to pursue her love of teaching, spend time with her husband, and the flexibility to never miss an event for her children or grandchildren. As her and her husband Andy's children were growing up Patricia volunteered with every Cub Scout, Girl Scout, or club the kids joined. Andy's welding business would sponsor the kids local t-ball games and they were loved by the community. Patricia put everyone else first, and made a point to give to those in need in town before herself. Many children will remember Patricia as Mrs. Clause, dressing up with her husband and asking the local kids what they wanted for Christmas to put a smile on their faces.

It didn't matter how far she had to go, Patricia never missed any event for her family. As the kids grew up and the family grew, she often had to drive or travel to get to them but she didn't think twice before dropping everything to be there. On the trips she took with Andy they would take their motorhome, upgraded with various appliances so they never had to stay in a hotel on their travels, and they traveled across the United States together. Patricia remained close with her sisters her entire life and took many sister trips as well. Patricia was a favorite among the grandchildren to play school with. Patricia was the organizer of every family reunion. Her greatest joy was planning the most recent family reunion when all of her children were able to come along with most all the extended family, and she could have all of the people she loved in one place. Patricia was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to everyone and she will be dearly missed by all.

Beloved wife of Andy for 45 years. Loving mom of Andrea (Jimmy) Rister, Jessica (Aaron) Duncombe, Andy (Fiance Anna) Priest, and Becca Priest. Cherished grandmother of Kalyn, Khloe, Kenzie, Jake, Evan, Kendall, Logan, Adaline, Evelyn on the way, and Kodiak. Dear sister of Nancy (Jim) Ranieri, Frank (Sandy) Anchor, Wally (Patty) Anchor, Linda (Marty) Jenkins, and Violet Anchor. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, September 7th from 2pm until 8pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren. Patricia will lie instate Friday, September 8th at 9am until time of Funeral Service at 10am at A.H. Peters Funeral Home in Warren.
