Michael was passionate about cars, especially his own 1957 Chevy Bel Air. He loved working on and driving classic cars. He would meet up with his friends to work on whomever needed help to work on cars and they would fix it up for fun. He was also a member of the Roseville Rod and Social Club. Family meant the world to Michael. He loved to spend time with his son riding around in his son’s boat on Lake St. Clair. He loved spending time with his granddaughter, he would share his love of cars by taking her to car shows and going to drive in movies. The family always loved when he would take them all out to eat. In the summertime, he would go to Silver Lake and drive his 48 Willies Jeep around on the sand dunes. He was a kindhearted man who loved to help anyone who needed it. Many friends and neighbors will remember him as “Uncle Mike”, because although they were not family, he treated them as such.
