She was born April 10, 1923, in Hamtramck, MI to the late Joseph and Stella Drzewiecki. After graduating from Girls Catholic Central High School she went two years to Marygrove College but had to start working because of the war.
She married John Urban on October 27, 1945, they shared 44 wonderful years together prior to his passing in 1989. They raised four wonderful children. She had many jobs in her life including working during the war in the Fisher Building, Avon Lady, she retired from the St. Clair Shores tax department and then worked at Lord & Taylor until her 80's. She then volunteered at the Sterling Heights Library for many years. She loved to travel and enjoyed sewing and needlepoint. Mary Ann also loved Hallmark movies.
She had many friends that were close throughout her life like the "Big 6". When someone told her "I love you" she would always reply "love you more". Which we all hold dear to our hearts. She had a very strong faith and will be missed by many.
