Sending Leah's family  deepest sympathies! It is hard to believe till today! She is a strong women and a great nurse.  We will miss her for ever and ever!!!

I was so sorry to hear about Leah's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. I met Leah in 1981 at Christ For the Nations Bible Institute. We came fast friends and socialized often at the school. When I went to Camp Penuel they  were in need of a nurse so I called Leah and she came right away. We both had so much fun. Leah and I had remained friends throughout the years where we shared in each other's joys and sorrows. I trusted in her counsel and she always had scripture to back up her advice. I will miss her dearly as we talked every couple of weeks. Leah, you are a treasure!

Leah was God’s Blessing to our family.   She traveled the world fulfilling Jesus commission for spreading His Gospel to untold thousands through her missionary work.  She did this for approximately 20 years .   She came home about the year 2000 to live and take care of her disabled  father for the last 9 years of his life.   She then lived and took care of her mom the past 15 years of her life.  
Leah suffered with cancer the past 17 months or so.  She valiantly fought for life and continued to praise her Lord Jesus to the end.  Oh how we miss Leah and our so thankful for her life of giving.   Thank you Jesus for giving Leah to our family and loving her and taking her home  to yourself.   Your Grace is so wonderful! My heart is saddened over the loss of Leah. We were friends but sadly I have not seen her for a few years. We worked together as nurses and found we both loved Jesus. We went to Israel together what a blessing. I know she is Face to Face with the lover of her soul what joy must fill her heart. She will always be remembered for the loving person that she is. Leah cheer us on as you are now a part of the great cloud of witnesses. Live Kathy Marchuk
