Born in Detroit to the late Edward and Mary Sobocinski, Kenneth worked at Champion designing manufacturing parts until retirement. A man of faith, Kenneth stayed active in church his entire life. Kenneth was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church for 36 years. Serving as Stephens Minister for many years and a member of their Bible Study, Kenneth and his wife Nancy were dear members of their church family community at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. In the summer, he could be found swimming laps at the Warren pool or tending to his lush garden, and in the winter he would stay in and read. Kenneth and Nancy happily retired when the time came and the years after retirement were the years they treasured most because of the time they were given to be close to their beloved children and grandchildren. A beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend, Kenneth will be missed dearly.
Beloved husband of the late Nancy for 51 years. Dear father of Kirk (Kelly) and Jonathan (Annette). Beloved grandfather of Benjamin Sobocinski, Nathan Sobocinski, Cecilia Sobocinski, and Sophia Sobocinski. Cherished brother of Gerald (Judy) Sobocinski, Eugene (Martha) Sobocinski, the late Raymond (the late Bea) Sobocinski, Edward Sobocinski, Lorraine (Norbert) Tomichick, Delphine (Chester) Zawislinski. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
