James "Jim" Allen Doyle, age 60, was called home unexpectedly to be with his Lord on August 18, 2024. He was born on February 17, 1964 to the late Eugene and the late Mary (nee: Boyd) Doyle in Highland Park, Michigan.
Jim lived a life full of passion and adventure, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew him. Family was everything to Jim. He was a man whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family. His favorite memories included taking his children on weekend outings to the movies, mini-golf, bowling, and Cedar Point, creating lasting memories of fun and adventure. His dedication and affection for his loved ones defined his life, leaving a legacy of warmth and devotion that will be remembered and cherished forever.
A devoted fan of country music, Jim had a special place in his heart for Kenny Chesney, often attending his concerts with family and friends. Some of his happiest moments were being surrounded by the people he loved enjoying good music.
Jim also had a deep appreciation for sports, from basketball and football to baseball and hockey. He was always keen to follow his favorite teams and took his family to many basketball games. He embraced an active lifestyle with a love for biking and bowling, as well as golfing. He enjoyed playing basketball with his son, often going to local basketball courts and parks for pick-up games.
Professionally, Jim took great pride in his later career as a real estate entrepreneur. His dedication to managing properties was a source of immense pride and accomplishment for him. A simple man with a genuine spirit, Jim's life was marked by his love for family, his enthusiasm for music and sports, and his pride in his work.
He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends. He was the loving father of Allen, Michelle, and the late Brittany; Devoted grandfather of Christian, and Jaiden; Dear brother of Diane (Jim) Westlake, and Sharon (Bob) Eickhoff. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews along with many other family members and friends. Jim leaves behind a legacy of joy and dedication that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
A Cemetery Committal Service will be held on Saturday, September 14th, at 11am at Christian Memorial Cemetery, 521 East Hamlin Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48307.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be used at the discretion of the family.
