Daniel Victor McNair

Daniel was born on February 18, 1946 in Windsor, Ontario to his parents Victor and Inez.

Daniel held his Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering and worked for many years as an engineering manager for General Motors finally retiring as the director of Cadillac. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking and finished his home with his creations. He also loved gardening and was always known for having an immaculate garden that was recognized in the 2012 the Lakeshore Garden Club Awards at his home in Lexington. He could also be found enjoying a good competitive game of football, known here as soccer.

He is survived by his sons Christopher (Laura) McNair and Brian (Laura) McNair, grandchildren Lauren, Lilly and Morgaine, siblings Jack (Lin) McNair, Judy McNair and Victoria McNair.

He was preceded in passing by his sister Jan.

Friends may visit the A H Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088 on Friday, December 13, from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
