Born and raised in Hamtramck, Carol was a devoted Polish Catholic whose faith guided her life and community involvement. For over five years, she managed the food pantry at St. Florian Church, providing essential support to those in need. Her passion for service extended to assisting the St. Florian Quilters and being an active member of the St. Theresa Guild. Carol dedicated her professional life to Blue Cross, where she worked as a secretary for an impressive 40 years.
In her spare time, Carol was an avid gardener, nurturing her plants with love and care. She delighted in completing crossword puzzles, visiting craft and art fairs, and spending time outdoors feeding the birds and the neighborhood cats. An enthusiastic television viewer, she cherished her favorite shows on QNC, enjoyed reality TV, and was a devoted fan of Hallmark movies
Carol was the beloved wife of the late James. Loving sister of Patricia (Chuck) Vandelinder. Dear sister-in-law of David (Corinne) Brown and Leonard Brown. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, dedication to her community, and her joyful spirit.
