Sandra Garcia Corbett

She was born in Laredo, Texas on October 13, 1951 to Encarnacion and Guadalupe Garcia. She attended Martin High School and graduated in1969. She later earned her Associate’s degree. Sandra worked at TSTC for 42 years where she retired in 2016.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Encarnacion and Guadalupe Garcia, and is survived by son, Jason Corbett, daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Derek McDaniel and her beloved grandchildren, Gavin and Dakota McDaniel. She is also survived by her three brothers, Sergio Garcia, Sr. and sister-in-law, Trisha Garcia, George Garcia and David Garcia. As well as her nieces, Kristina Garcia Rodriquez and her husband, Rey Rodriquez, Vanessa Garcia and nephews, Sergio Garcia, Jr. and Michael Riojas.

Visitation is Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 6-8 pm with Rosary starting at 7 pm at Connally/Compton Funeral Home and the mass service is Friday, December 29, 2023 at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest immediately following mass services at Rosemound Cemetery. Sandra donated regularly to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. We couldn’t have asked for a better mother, Didi, sister, aunt and friend. We will miss our beautiful Sandra every day. She is at peace due to her devotion to her Catholic beliefs. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.]
