Graveside Service will be held at 1:00p.m. at Rosemound Cemetery Friday, November 15, 2013.
A visitation will be held at Connally Compton Funeral Directors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013.
Larry was born December 21, 1951 to Doris and J.B. Smith in Waco, Texas. He worked with his father at Singer Sewing Machine Company for many years. He loved to fish and his fur babies Chico, Chi Chi and Sugar.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 34 years, Sharon Smith; his father J.B. Smith and step-father, Bobbie Forrest.
Survivors include mother, Doris Forrest; brother, J.R. Smith and wife Terry; sister, Lynda Thurman and husband Richard; sisters, Rita Norred and Jane Murff and husband Charles; sister–in-law Joanie Wright and husband Brian and brother-in-law, Ralph Holle. Larry is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his best friend Herman Bell.
