Jeffrey Robert Moon, born on February 12, 1981, in Madisonville, Texas, was a cherished son of Artie and Karla Greger. From an early age, Jeffrey exuded warmth, kindness, and a genuine love for life, endearing himself to all who knew him.
An avid outdoorsman, Jeffrey found solace in nature, particularly in fishing and spending time in the great outdoors. His passion for sports was evident in his unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. Yet, his greatest devotion was to his family. Jeffrey was a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart, Kristin, and a loving father to their four beautiful children: Sebastian, Devon, Peyton, and Samara. Beyond his own family, Jeffrey became a father figure to many who passed through his home, offering guidance and love.
Known affectionately as a “gentle giant,” Jeffrey’s kindness knew no bounds. He had a unique ability to connect with everyone he met, never treating anyone as a stranger. His home is a place of joy, laughter, and warmth and will continue to be as he wanted. With a playful spirit, Jeffrey was a master prankster, always delighting in surprising his loved ones, whether by jumping out of a closet or sharing a lighthearted joke. His infectious smile and laughter were a constant presence, bringing life to every room he entered.
Jeffrey was also known for his culinary talents, particularly his skill in the art of BBQ. He took pride in preparing meals for his family and friends, often hosting gatherings and celebrations centered around food. The holidays, especially Christmas, were a special time for him. His home transformed into a festive haven, lovingly decorated as if straight from the North Pole. Endearingly nicknamed “Buddy the Elf” by those closest to him, Jeffrey embodied the joy and magic of the holiday season, ensuring that family gatherings were filled with warmth, love, and good food.
In addition to his sense of humor and love for celebration, Jeffrey’s true legacy lies in his compassion and generosity. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying the spirit of kindness and selflessness throughout his life.
