Elaine M. Ritter

The family will receive friends 6 to 8:00p.m., Friday, September 15, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Elaine was born in Woodville, Wisconsin on July 28, 1929 to Alba and Marie (Vanderlaan) Clothier. She graduated from Woodville High School in 1948. She married the love of her life, Milton Ritter, October 25, 1950 until his death on April of 1992. Elaine was a retired nurse from maternity ward of Hillcrest Hospital. She was a Sunday school teacher for Parklake Drive Baptist Church for several years. Elaine was a caregiver her whole life and was always there to help people in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Earl Clothier.

Survivors include her sisters, Evelyn Muffet and Lorraine Achterhof; children, Brad Ritter and wife Pat, Belinda Ritter and wife Linda Yelvington, and Barry Ritter and wife Trisha; grandchildren, Fred Cross III and wife Trish, Joshua Ritter, Garrett Ritter, Kyle Ritter and wife Chelsea and Matthew Ritter. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Kirsten Cross, Kylie Ritter, Forrest Ritter, Ruger Ritter, Violet Ritter, and Benjamin Ritter.
