Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Chapel Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Al Zindermanis officiating.
The family will receive friends 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.
Cleo was born in Dublin, Texas on Feb. 21, 1919 to Ed, Sr. and Myrtle Oma Franks where she grew up in West, Texas. She moved to Waco, Texas where she met the love of her life, Hugh Thompson. They lived in Speegleville for years. She lived later in West, Texas.
Cleo attended Grace Gospel and Faith Tabernacle Churches, where she served the Lord faithfully. She loved sewing, cooking, music and reading her bible but most of all she loved her family, always there to help and serve in anyway.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, 4 brothers, Tony, Ed, Jr., Wesley, and Charles Franks; husband, Hugh Thompson; daughter in law, Barbara Thompson; granddaughter, Tara Jasmine Thompson, great granddaughter, Lauren Ashley Boggs and great grandson, Glenn Edward Scott Guerin.
She is survived by children, Oma Dee Boggs and husband Ken, Edward “Buddy” Thompson, Melvin Thompson, Brenda Beringer, Paul Thompson and wife Jolene, and Michael Thompson; grandkids, Liz Guerin and husband Randy, Jonathan Boggs, Tiffanie Juntenun and husband Tom, Ashley Thompson and fiancé, Brandy Jones and husband Cody, Danielle St. Pierre and husband Nathan, Paul Beringer, Destiny Beringer, Kivven Thompson, and Jeremy Thompson. She is also survived by great grandkids, Jacob Boggs, Alesis Juntenun, Cadence Juntenun, Memphis Juntenun, Abigail Beringer, and Aiden Beringer; sisters, Mary Sims and Dixie Donaldson and husband Wayne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
