Brenda Snider, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully at age 69, Thursday, July 11, 2024 in Waco, Texas, with her family by her side. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors, with Dr. Jeff Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Waco Memorial Park in Robinson, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the funeral home.
Brenda was born on August 31, 1954 to Darrell and Hazel Louise (Nichols) Haught in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Hewitt, Texas. Brenda married the love of her life, Donnie Snider, on August 30, 1975. She worked as an Administrator Assistant for 30 years with Waco ISD and Midway ISD. Brenda was a lifetime member of Woodway First United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School, volunteered for Mission trips and youth programs with her girls. Brenda dedicated her life to her family and staying on the go watching her granddaughters softball and grandsons baseball games. She would never miss a grandkids game, traveling as far as North Carolina for the Little League World Series and Tennessee for more softball.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donnie Snider, nephew, Trent Kleibrink and mother-n-law, Rita Snider.
Brenda leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughters, Christine Coulter and husband, Craig, of Waco, and Leann Brown and husband, Chad of Waco; grandsons: Zakary Davy, Luke Davy, Nicolas Medina and Mark Medina, great-grandson: Jaxon Davy, granddaughters: Lanee Brown, Kyndal Brown, Constance Coulter and Skylar Coulter; sister, Linda Kleibrink and husband, Mike of Lorena, father-n-law, James Snider of Robinson. As well as multiple nieces, nephews, sister and brother n laws and cousins.
