Betty was born April 29, 1950 in Waco to Domingo T and Helen (Sanchez) Chavez. She was a longtime resident of Waco. Betty enjoyed crocheting, watching scary movies, doing crossword puzzles, doing face time on facebook, and most of all, taking care of all the grandchildren. She loved babies and reading her bible daily.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Erminia Salinas and Delores Resendez.
Survivors include her sisters, Ernestine Yvon and husband, Frank of Midlothian, Mary Ann Chavez of Waco, brothers, Richard Chavez and wife, Mary L of Waco, Thomas Chavez of Lake Charles Louisiana, numerous nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, Milton T. Salinas.
