Vickie Glymph, 70, of West Columbia, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, surrounded by her family and her beloved dog Chico. Vickie was born October 24, 1954, in Winnsboro to the late Johnny Branham and Alma Marjorie Parker Branham.
Vickie found joy in life’s simple pleasures—soaking up sun by the pool with a Diet Mountain Dew in hand, working in her yard and doing crafts and word searches, attending auctions and shopping at flea markets, and rarely missing the latest episodes of wrestling and Live PD. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her personality was marked by her keen sense of humor and abundant love. She will be deeply missed but remembered forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
Her family takes comfort in her heavenly reunion with the love of her life and husband of 26 years, Kenny.
Vickie is survived by her son, Jason (Melissa) of Blythewood, and stepson, Kenneth Byron Glymph of West Columbia; grandchildren, Brook, Cole, Kenneth Aaron and Haleigh; brothers, David (Donna) of Lancaster and Allen “Buck” Branham of Winnsboro; sister Shelia (Johnny) of Winnsboro; sisters-in-law, Vicki (Jimmy) Mack of Swansea, and LaDonna (Scott) Miller Ostrom of West Columbia. Vickie was adored by a host of nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Glymph, and her sister, Johnette Granger.
Funeral services will be held on Friday March 28, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Caughman Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel 820 W. Dunbar Rd., West Columbia, 29170. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
