LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Barbara Pleasant, 81, of Lexington, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pleasant was born October 14, 1935 in Columbia, SC and passed away Friday, December 2, 2016. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin O’Donnell and Elizabeth Sheaver O’Donnell. She was an Author and Artist and a good mother.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Pleasant of Lexington; daughters, Lynn Starrett (Craig) of West Columbia and Janet Vanco (George) of Lexington; son, Kevin Pleasant (Debra Gainey) of Lexington; grandchildren, Brian Sox (Jessica) and Laura Young (Matt) of Lexington; six, great-grandchildren; brothers, Butch O’Donnell (Marguerite) of Tallahassee, FL, Michael O’Donnell (Suzanne) of Jacksonville, FL and sister, Ann McGaffic of Ocala, FL.
