Lynn Margaret Davis

Lynn Margaret Davis of Visalia, went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2023. Lynn was survived by her husband Gary Davis, daughter Tracy Davis and partner Janet Smith, son Jeff Davis and wife Emily and their children Kylie, Caleb, Maddie, Nate, and Brighton.

Lynn was born in Pennsylvania on December 17, 1942. They moved to Southern California where she grew up. It was at a U.S.O. dance that she met Airman Gary Davis. They corresponded through the mail while Gary was stationed in Alaska. Gary and Lynn were married on May 9, 1964 They lived in Santa Barbara and the Bay area when they had their daughter, Tracy. Then moved to Visalia in the summer of 1969 and Jeff was born later that year. Lynn had a lengthy career as a nurse, retiring after 30 years. She was very involved in her church and community. Lynn was the consummate hostess. Her family and friends enjoyed many meals and get-togethers at the Davis' home. Upon retiring, she embarked on a new vocation: raising birds. Her backyard is filled with multiple aviaries with her birds; Doves, finches, love birds, quail, and diamond doves. The backyard is also filled with flowers, plants and trees and the sounds of the birds. She always invited people to come see her "birdies".

Now she has gone home to take care of God's birds in Heaven.

Services will be on May 13, 2023 at Sierra Baptist Church, 1437 E Walnut Ave. at 2:00 pm with dinner to follow.
