Justine Mary Rodman

Justine M. Rodman (Bunny), age 79, passed away on December 15, 2017. She was born in Munising, MI on December 5, 1938 to her parents, Joseph S. and Christine M. Pawielski. Later Justine attended Michigan State University and graduated with a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling. In 1965 she married her beloved husband, Donald W. Rodman, who is now deceased. After moving from Green Bay, WI Justine became a 38-year old resident of Visalia, CA, being the Director of Human Resources for Tulare County Childcare for 25 years. Bunny was a special person, always strong in mind and character, sweet, kind, funny, and intelligent. She and Don enjoyed their RV travels, and Ham Radio Club group. Bunny was an accomplished pianist, enjoyed new technologies and the computer, and was talented in needlework, cross-stitch, crocheting, and others.

She is survived by her mother, Christine Pawielski of Visalia, CA, her sister Beverly (Wayne) Splitgerber of Hemet, CA and Green Bay, WI, her uncle, John Pawielski of Niles, MI, several cousins and in-laws, and special family friend Elisabeth Olsen of Visalia.

Visitation will be held on December 21, 2017 from 8:30am-9:30am at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1908 N. Court St., Visalia.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being set up in her name for a no-kill animal shelter in the area.
