Greg was born and raised in Visalia and graduated from Redwood High School – Class of 1994. At 20 years of age, he headed to San Francisco with a small group of friends to seek employment and adventure. Greg waited tables and bartended at various restaurants in San Francisco. Most of the last ten years, he worked for Global Gourmet as a manager. Greg was responsible for personnel, food, and beverage for shows at: Comedy Club, Punchline, Masonic, Greek Theater, and other venues. Most of his time and effort went into the Fillmore. Greg was proud of the quality of food he made available to the performers and public during the shows. Greg loved the Fillmore.
Greg leaves this world mourned and missed by his Parents, Bob and Arcelia Longacre, Sisters, Lisa Lopez and Christina James (Rich), Brother Johnny Longacre (Angela), and nieces and nephews, Chelsea Guinn (Jake), Jaime, Megan, Eric, Adam, Juliana, and Rhett. We would be remiss not to acknowledge all of the messages of praise for Greg as a friend and coworker from many folks in the Bay Area. Greg was definitely a people person. We will all miss Greg and may he rest in peace.
