David Monroe Morgan, of Visalia, California, passed away on September 5, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.
David was born on July 19, 1958 in Fresno, California. He graduated from Mt. Whitney High School in 1976 and went on to play baseball for Fresno City College for two years. After completing his education, he joined the family business with his father Ron Morgan and brother Rick Morgan. David was known for having the loudest and biggest laugh of anyone. He was the life of the party and very outgoing, never meeting a stranger. His greatest joy was the birth of his only child Tyler Morgan. He was passionate about sports, coaching baseball, hunting, and fishing, and he enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. Above all, he was a passionate baseball fan.
David is survived by his son Tyler Morgan; his mother Faye Morgan; his brother Rick Morgan and sister-in-law Diane Morgan; his niece Shannyn Rico and her husband Matt Rico; and his nephew Matthew Morgan and his wife Stephanie Morgan. David was preceded in death by his father, Ron Morgan; his grandfather, John Morgan; his grandmother, Betty Morgan; his grandfather, Monroe Nulick; his grandmother, Dru Nulick; and several aunts and uncles. Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service honoring the life of David at Visalia Public Cemetery on September 20th, 2023 at 9am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local youth baseball organization. Expressions of condolences can be sent to the family.
