As a faithful and loving wife to John Cook for over 40 years, they raised two children, Jacob and Pamela; and also two stepchildren, Tina and Johnny. Together, they raised eight grandchildren: Jordin, Lucas, Andrew, Sara, Lauren, Valeri, Bradley, and Roman. She worked in the Black and White Negative Department at Josten's Yearbook for over 20 years.
Cynthia is survived by her spouse of over forty years, John Cook; her daughter, Pamela Reynolds; her son, Jacob McNally; stepdaughter, Tina Cook; stepson, Johnny Cook; her brothers, Michael LaCoss and Tim Lewis; her grandchildren, Jordin Nichols, Lucas Nichols, Andrew Lunsford, Sara McNally, Lauren McNally, Valeri, Bradley, and Roman Cook; her great grandchildren, Jordin Jr. "Bub", Livia, Luka, and another special baby on the way.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Dale Lewis and her mother Patricia Joan Whistler.
My mother was a very genuine, loving, and giving person. She was a loyal friend to many, and she had many committed friends as a result. Margeret, Diane, Theresa, and so many others were part of her inner circle. Much fun was had with her and her friends on their disco nights back in the late 70’s and in more recent decades, their “lunch outings.” She would add a fun factor to any gathering. My mother’s most proud title was Grandma. She took this role very seriously. She cuddled, fed, spoiled, changed countless diapers, provided day care, clothed, provided transport to & from school, attended dance recitals & sporting events, and shared her wisdom with nothing expected in return other than love. We all will forever respect and love her until the end of time. She was one of a kind. She will be waiting for us all at the gates of Heaven when our time has come. We love you, our beautiful Mother, grandmother, friend, and we will see you again someday.
