Christine Lujan Reynoso

Christine was born on April 6, 1935 in Pecos, Texas. She attended Mt Whitney High where she met her high school sweetheart David Reynoso. They married in 1954 and in 2023 celebrated 69 years together.

Christine did various types of work. While in her younger years she was a farm laborer, cleaned houses, and then became employed at Jostens American Yearbook where she bowled on the league. When she retired she loved going camping and taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother Rita Lujan, father Luz Lujan, sisters Helen Lujan and Geneva Neqrette, brothers Alex Lujan and Sam Lujan.

She is survived by her husband David Reynoso, son Raymond Reynoso (Kim Kowalski), daughter Madelyne Reynoso Moreno (Richard Moreno), grand-nephew whom she raised as her son, Roger Negrette (Veronica Aceves), one granddaughter Geneva Garcia, two grandsons Stephen Reynoso and Andrew Reynoso, and great- great- niece that she raised as her granddaughter Miranda Negrette, one great- grandson Clayton Reynoso, and brother Roy Casarez, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Family would like to thank American Care Hospice for all the love and care they gave to her. They were truly heaven sent.

There will be a Graveside Memorial Service on May 11, 2023 at 11:00am at the Visalia Public Cemetery District.
